Was on the verge of buying this, but a student needs to eat hehe.

Nope, it’s not just you, games are getting more expensive and I’m told that Xbox games are going to go up to R700 a game very shortly!!!

Ouch?! Really getting expensive to have a hobby now-a-days.
But then again, I remember buying Metal Gear Solid 2, sons of liberty, for R700 from toys r us when it came out on PS2. So perhaps the cycle is just restarting.

I still have no idea on why PS3 games have a min of R100 mark up price against its xbox360 counterpart. I refuse to believe its an import thing, considering that most, if not all, prices in the US is the same for both platforms. Even looking at a multi-platform game like Fifa08, Look&Listen has the PS3 version for a R100 more.

SK might be taking us South Africans for a ride :p
