Microsoft Reclusa Gaming Keyboard

The keyboard is a compulsory part of the overall computing experience. We sit in front of our monitor day in, day out and pound on the keys for years without even a thought. In fact, the only time we really do pay attention is when it breaks or stops to function properly. When that happens, you have some options for your new replacement.
For the average consumer, a R154 basic keyboard from the local computer store will get the job done. For the more advanced user, there are some very attractive options which have some more advanced features including keyboard shortcuts for certain programs and features. But for the enthusiast, who in most cases includes gamers, an average keyboard won’t cut it.
Hence the gamers boards known as Logictech G15, Razer Tarantula and now the keyboard brought to you by Microsoft and Razer, the Microsoft Reclusa.

Although Razer are known for their lightning fast mice this is there second attempt at making keyboards so far as I know, and surprisingly they pull it off quite nicely. For about R300 cheaper than the G15 you can get this offer and like the G15 the Reclusa features blue backlighting for all those gamers that like playing in the dark.
There are six programmable hot keys that allow you to store different macros and keystrokes for each game profile as well as four bumper buttons that allow you to access common PC commands. The Reclusa features Hyperesponse which reduces key latency for the ultimate responsiveness.
Overall the keyboard could be a little bit wider so that the six shortcut keys aren’t right next to the rest of the keys and I found myself often hitting the eject button next to the numeric enter key. Apart from that the Reclusa types extremely well without any discomfort after typing out a few lengthy emails.
